All About Me

1. I have the same birthday as my mom - I like to think I was her best birthday present ever.
2. I love to travel - this summer we went to San Francisco, Yosemite National Park, Washington DC, New York City, a few other spots in Northern California (Carmel, Big Sur, Monterey), Traverse City and Glen Arbor.
3. I have 2 kids, both boys - 1st and 3rd grade!
4. I have been married 15 years - exactly, actually - as I write this. We got married on September 7, 2001 at Addison Oaks.
5. On that note, it was an outdoor wedding and it down-poured moments before I was supposed to walk down the aisle. Fortunately, it cleared right up and we still had the outdoor ceremony - we were just a bit wet.
6. I'm extremely afraid of all animals - even our cat, who I swear is planning my demise every time he looks at me.
7. Speaking of that, don't even get me started on the peacocks they let roam freely at the Detroit Zoo. I hide behind my kids the majority of our visits.
8. My favorite sports are downhill skiing and tennis. I love to ski out west!
9. I'm giving up Diet Coke as of yesterday, so if I'm cranky, that may be the culprit. ;)
10. A movie made by Warner Brothers was partially filmed at my house - it's called "Into the Storm." It's a terrible movie; don't rent it. And no, unfortunately I don't have a cameo in the film.
